Unfortunately, No since to remove and replace the OEM lens you need to have the projectors out.

Depends, some replicas dont need spacers some do, some replicas need bending the cut of shield a mm or two.

JD the quad halos mentioned a page or two ago wouldnt fit the 04-06 TL.

Don't know if anyone has asked this before, but what do you think about setting up sort of a group for a set of the TypeS lights? Maybe if we can get 10 members together to chip in to purchasing a set, you can get started on modding TypeS lights since a lot of us have them but are not willing to part with them for a week? Anyone else interested?

Hey, So how are people installing their LED's? Independent of the headlights? This is what I was planning however I would love to have a way for my car to beep at me if I leave them on, possible? Otherwise I was thinking of just having them come on with the parking and instrument panel, however I have no idea how this would be done, any help/ideas would be much appreciated.

^^ THe ones I have been using are from Umnita through lightwurkz on ebay, not sure what size they are, they are not O shaped halos but are more "U" shaped.

Is anyone else having problems with their LED strips? It is in NO way a reflection on JnC's work, but my LEDs are burning out...QUICK! In the past two weeks (3) sets of 3 LEDs went out. Now there are 9 out in the driver side and 3 out on passenger
Again, not JnC's fault but I'd stay away from the LEDs! Just lookin out for my fellow AZ'ers!

Everything else looks great! but what's up with the LEDs?? Is it just the cold winter causing it??

actually after seeing msala's headlights with the orange double halos i think i may add that to the list.. how much to do this, do i just pre pay you for the 4 halos and you get them direct?

I have had this issue with a couple of other guys as well, apparently these LEDs are not as good as we all thought in the beginning.

Oznium says that you can cut the end of the tube in packs of 3 if you need to shorten the strip which in turn tells me that they are wired in parallel in group of 3s so if one goes out it takes 3 out at a time.

I am contemplating the idea of not offering the install at all soon due to the few complaints I have had, they look great and all but durability is what we want since the headlight can not be opened and closed easily whenever needed.

Not really, redundant yes, but not frustrating .

I can relate to people not wanting to go through 20 or so pages to find details.


Details on labor, trade in program etc can be found in the very first post of this thread.

Beginning from now I will not offer to install the LEDs, unless you guys can locate LEDs that are warrantied not to go bad. Its frustrating for me and very much so for the person who went through the hassle of buying them and paying me to install.

Members who have already sent me their LEDs are good and will still have the LEDs installed in their headlights, again as black0ut said, I only guarantee my work and not the LEDs or CCFLs.


Trade in program is still open, if anyone is interested then they can put their name at the end of the appropriate year list.

^^good idea...LEDs are trouble. In the spring I'll probably do a trade-in for CCFL's like I originally planned. They seem much more reliable..
