^^ USPS priority mail, if you had paid yesterday they would have gone out yesterday as well and would have made it to you by saturday . The mail man just picked up the box so you should expect them to be in on monday

That indeed was the first place I tried the LEDs, but there isnt enough clearance in the back (right where the turn signal corner is) and also the LED strip is a tad too thick to be installed on to the bar or through the bar by dremeling the plastic out.

 

I thought the led strip was just for kicks, are u seriously driving with it on. In the pics it looks so damn bright?

 

I have no problem driving it on.

I did get a set back in from another member but one of the top tabs is broken, if any one of you guys want a set at a discounted price for trade in then PM me, I am willing to knock off $30 or so from my labor. Passenger side has a broken tab.

Otherwise, I'll be getting at least 2 sets in this week so the next two people would be taken care off.

 

what do you mean when you say broken tab? this wont result in any moisture getting into the headlight would it?

 

No, the tab has nothing to do with the seal of the headlight. Headlight still is fully functional and will be mounted without any difficulty onto the body.

I dont have the picture here with me but here is a picture showing which tab is broken, its the one that is circled and its broken off right where the yellow line is.

Ive been reading this post and from what I gather even though I dont know %100 of what we are talking about, I want it. From what I gather, its a mod for my 04 headlights. So 1. can someone give the Cliff Notes version of what he will do for me if I send him my lights and 2. I really need to see a picture of one completed

Ok now be gentle!!!!

 

1. Read the first post. He can basically do whatever you want him to do. Most people "clear" or remove the amber diffuser piece and color match the housing to the color of their TL. He can also swap out the lenses with better quality ones. He can also add the "angel eyes" or a LED strip.
2. This thread has 17 pages of pictures.

JnC, shot compressed air thru my headlights with both the turn and fog bulbs out... no dice. Still a ton of dust.

I'll be the nice guy or 2nd nice guy, that shows you a good example of what he's doing. Some of the pic links are dead but if you compare your stock lights to this should give you an indication of what to expect.
