LOL thanks all. appreciate all your comments. as for the damage, it wasn't too bad, in fact most of the damage was absorbed by the sheriff's front "tow" bar? or whatever that thing is that guards their front ends...SURPRISINGLY, my car has very minimal damage. it's still a new bumper though...in addition with the money from the other accident, plus hospital bills, etc. YIKES...
BUT, one thing that pissed me off: the officer wouldn't let me freaking TALK...state trooper told me to get back in my car when I tried to tell him about my neck pains... it was essentially 4 popos on 1! booo on them...

Oh yea today on I-5 I saw popo, lights flashing and sirens screaming.. in a fuckin land cruiser. WTF? Why would popo need to drive a $60k car? Hope tahts not tax dollars.

Edit: other accident nvm.

well actually, i'm not quite sure how fast he was going. he was merging onto the freeway, so i'd image he was atleast going 40 to 50? definitely didn't look like 30 or less...of course he did slam on his brakes when it came to the crunch...who knows where that put him that...

land cruiser eh? try 70k!...our tax dollars at work

So being a NBP owner and wanting to do a championship white and NBP two tone looks better and better by the thread! I think the NBP is a crash target

Seattle is full of uninsured motorists!!! I've been hit twice in the last year. First by a 91 Integra and then by a '76 Ford Eline Van driven by a homeless man without brakes 2 months ago. Both of them drove off and fled the scene. The homeless man ran off on foot. Pretty sweet except for the whole fixing the car part on your own. Homeless van literally got his home towed away by the popo though.

lol, the part where the homeless run off cracked me up. That is reassuring to hear that Seattle is full of uninsured people and on top of that, we already have worst drivers on the planet. Maybe I'll just leave my TL at home from now on.

I bought a new taillight from Acura Peoria for $116. Took some rubbing compound out and polished out the Rust Colored van paint. I was lucky I saw the bastard in my mirror and floored it at last minute into the oncoming lane on the Market Street Hill. Here's what it looked like before I installed a new taillight and put a little touch up paint on:

Damn - I thought I was having bad luck because somebody ripped off my side-view mirror and then some crappy, nasty, rusty water dripped on my sunroof when I was parked in the garage at work..... and it won't come off. Sorry to hear of your plights my fellow NBPers.
