Current TL trade in values?

Hi all,

TSX 'owner' here and my lease is up in a few months. Id love to get into a pre-owned 06 or 07 TL and of course, need some negotiation "ammo." Going to purchase from a local Acura dealer, and wondering whats a good negotiating point, based on what the dealer most likely got the car in question for. For example, if the car is listed at 22K, what might be a good price to try and get out the door for.

So whats the current "wholesale" prices for a 06-07 TL (NO Type S) these days?

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Rather than a guess, enter your zip code and you'll find the CPO cars. As far as OTD price, that certainly depends on the sales tax in your area, and just how hungry the dealer might be to move the car as certain areas of the country have been hit harder than others during this down turn. Negotiations never hurt, e.g. throwing in the Acura Car Care extended warranty, fixing items that you might find are not up to standards like wheel scuffs, etc., or just a low ball offer to see where they are coming from.

As far as wholesale, trade in values; look at the KBB site to get a ballpark figure.

Thanks. Big swing on KBB values depending on car condition. Which one should I use?

Read the description on each category and select the appropriate level. Most Acura CPO vehicles would be classified as excellent, and should be in that condition.

KBB is pretty high when it comes to trade in values, dealers usually don't pay that much for them. They don't pay anywhere close to that at wholesale either.
