Obviously this is a matter of personal preference, wouldn't you agree? Different people have different tastes; that's what makes this world interesting. (This thread is the biggest waste of bandwidth).

Window flectors?? It's called window deflectors. I have them on my TL, we put them on because it helps reflecting the rain and it looks good.

front and back body kits is called A-SPEC body kit. We put them on because it makes the TL look sportier.

I have to agree with you, but it's a matter of personal preference. I personally can think of a lot of other things I'd rather spend my money on than a body kit. But hey, it's the owner's car, the owner's $$$$. As an NYC dweller, I opted to spend that money on an array of custom 3M protection ... fender well trims, pliable door edge trim guards, double layered paint protection film on both the bumpers & doors, and a 5/8" thick rear bumper moulding to prevent 'ringdings'. At 2¼ years, I'm still ding free!

Once upon a time while I was getting my serviced at Curry Acura, there was a white TL getting body kit installed. I'll never forget the mechanic's continuous bitching what a waste he thought it was.

I have noticed though that on average, the younger the owner, the more of that 'stuff' gets piled onto and into the car.

I am 41 and I want to do that "stuff" to my TL. Why? Because I like the way it looks. And because I can. It is all about choices. By the way, if you don't like the way something looks, YOU don't have to LOOK at it. It's all about choices. There are guys older than me that mod their cars, so we should not stereotype anyone.
