chicago got a lot of snow last few days, and it was hard to get around the first day. i rashed a rim against the curb... nice. Can't really notice it but it's the kind of thing that bugs me. i will be in the market for some rims when it's nice out for sure.

sure enuff, coworker's car scrapes the tl, she left a one inch wide, narrow scratch on the corner of the nose. i hope i can get it touched up, i never had a car professionally touched up before.

i should not be a baby, one of my business partners rearended somebody last nite car has 3k in damage.

sorry but people who rearend people are just assholes that can't drive !

 

Don't look at it as being a baby...

You take pride in your car, and treat it with respect... Others who are careless around you don't... Car injuries don't heal...

Feel bad for you...cuz I would be pissed...

 

Time to throw the car in the trash and get a new one. Curb rash is disturbing. Sorry for your loss.

 

I hear you....

I got the dealer to touch up 3 small vertical scratched on the left front last Friday (they did that a week ago when my TL was in for service, which pissed me off already).

After work Friday I park the TL in the garage. Didn't drive it the whole weekend. Monday morning after I arrived at work I notice there is a 4" skinny scratch on the front right!!! I was PISSED!!!

I think one of my kids did it when they were trying to get some drinks from the fridge I have in the garage, or something........

Love my TL, but family first.........

 

I have touched up cars myself in the past and even with coaching from a body shop buddy it came out pretty crappy. So I will go to the pros. Luckily Anthracite is as forgiving as I thought it would be.
