So today I was trying to get up our driveway. However, there was about a foot of compacted snow/ice blocking the driveway. I thought it was just some slush, like the rest of the street. So i try to get up (at about 5mph). Just as I'm almost up I hear the the snow against the bottom of the car and the car stops moving. I end up having to completely shovel out the car to get back up.

Anyways, for those of you who have seen the bottom of the car... how fragile are things? And what is the possibility I messed things up? The body kit and stuff is fine so the snow coulndn't have been that bad. Also, after shoveling it out and backing out onto the street and driving into the garage, I didn't hear anything abnormal.

I didn't even make it into the garage in one shot afterwards.... stupid sleet.

It was probably just on the wind deflector on the bottom of the front....no big deal at all. If you checked your kit and it looks ok...you are ok. We got that same slush here in Indy last night.

Hope all is ok .. maybe something to think about next time .. use up some of that youth energy and shovel the driveway.

I think I just killed my back

I started to shovel my driveway and the snow was so heavy that after doing it for 5 min, I was very tired. The snow was a mixture of slush and ice. And after I was done, my dad came out and told me that the snow blower was working and I could have just used that

yeah.... i shoulda done that. thing is we just had our turnabout dance the night before. I got 2 hours of sleep so the last thing i wanted to do was shovel it out. and i thought i was gonna make it through. Anyways, i ended up spending a lot of time shoveling it out and then cleaning up the rest of the driveway.

Nice going, did nothing wrong with the car it's just funny how things like that happen and then you're like damn it.

But anyway it's just a bunch of plastic covers under the car anyway nothing should have gotten any damage.
