Corporate Pricing

Has anyone ever purchased a TL using a corporate discount service? There's one available through my work and I wondering whether it's better to use that or try to negotiate my own deal.

I'd imagine that you'll be chatting with the Fleet Salesperson, then. You probably won't get anything better than what you could negotiate on your own, but you'll probably get to the price quicker.

If you go through Sam's Club or Costco, you'll probably have the same deal.

TLover,
Is that offer available from dealer or American Honda?
Usually, if the corporate pricing is from dealer, you'll pay about invoice price. If from manufacturer, it'll usually be little bit below invoice.
I work for the manufacturer who makes TL's sound system. But I didn't get corporate discount, Honda/Acura doesn't offer corporate supplier's discount due to their demand.
You should go several dealers for pricing, then ask for corporate pricing. Best deals for standard TL is about $30,500 and 6MT w/Nav is about $32,600 (in NJ).

I am not sure what you are talking about when you mention corporate pricing.

I bought my Monte Carlo using what I will call corporate pricing. It is a stated price from GM and is below invoice. It is for people who work for them or related to someone who works for them. It is no longer available to me....

But, my company has business relationships with some car manufacturers and we get an employee 'discount'. This price is better than you can negotiate with a dealer. I would try to see what the price is, and then try and see if you can beat...

Good luck

It's a service offered through my company. I suppose it's similar to Costco's service. You go to Web site, find the car you want (if it's offered) and they e-mail you a certificate. You take the certificate to a participating dealer where they're supposed to give you a corporate price.

Discount on american cars (i.e. low demand) and the new TL (i.e. extremely high demand) are two completely different things. Here's the short answer...Costco, BJ's, etc can save you money (and haggling) if your buying an american made car or something like the Quest mini van. When it comes to performance cars like the Corvette, BMW or even the hot new TL, they can't do a single thing you can't do on your own. My wife has memeber ships to those discount clubs so I carefully tried to leverage a couple of them to help me with the TL. All initially said that they could do far better than if I tried it alone. Since it only cost me some time (waiting for them), I decided to let them "have a go". Each and every one came back with...Sorry, that's just to hot a car right now. We can't get any discounts on the NAVI units. This was back in december when all the dealers were trying everything they could to move inventory. They did find discounts on non-navi of like $800 but I had already found discounts on non-navi's of nearly $1400 by then. In the end I wound up doing it myself and saving $600 + HPT's + 2 years service included (figure I saved about $1000 off straight list). Good luck, things may have changed, but I doubt it...

My sister works for Honda Corp and I ordered my TL 5 auto Nav around 30K (same for 6MT with Navi). I tried to ask dealers around my area but they said they cant match it.
