This funny, found on their main page:

It says that they have the "intellectual property rights" and tells others not to use it...lol
I didn't know TL is sold in taiwan...interesting. Plus, they advertise that the TL is $2,290,000 NT, which equates to about $76,000 USD...crazy prices.

I thought Jerky had a watermark on his photos! Maybe they were just labeled. Too bad for the unscrupulous folks out there. It is a compliment to Jerky though, he take some really nice pictures! Funny how they claim intellectual property! LOL

Why is everyone so pissed?
1) the picture is NOT copyrighted
2) Jerky, or whoever's pictures they are are NOT selling them for profit.
If jerky was selling these pics, and this other company took them, then I'd be pissed. He's not losing anything by this other company using his pics. Pics posted on public forums are public. Taking them is as easy as right clicking... So anybody here who has taken a pic and used it as their desktop background could be considered as guilty.

it might not be right to use someones pictures as your own, but unless you have the copyrighted there is not much you can do
Pics posted on public forums are public.
Even if I let someone use my pictures with permission, for free, it doesn't prevent me from telling someone else they can't use my pictures without paying me.

But all this is technically and legally. My point is, people are outraged because they are using someone elses photos, but isn't that the same as making a mix tape, or burning a CD. Although technically against the law, its so laughable I doubt anybody could make an arguement for it.

All I'm saying is, if I take a photo, and post it on the internet, with no disclaimer prohibiting the use of the photo, then it is my assumption that someone will eventually take that picture and post it somewhere else. If no one did that, then P2P file sharing would not exist. If however, I was selling these photos for profit, then I would be pissed if someone took it.
Are you saying that you've never right-clicked and saved a picture from a website?

you guys should copyright your pictures under the creative commons licence at http://creativecommons.org/ , therefore making their actions illegal.

seriously, whats the big deal. its not like the pictures were all that special to begin with, they are just point & shoot camera shots, nothing professional. if taking photos of cars were ur career (and if the shots were anything special) they u could make a legitimate case for this. if not, i would feel flattered somebody thought they good enough to post themselves.
