Conveyance Fee...How Much Is Reasonable

I know this is a load of BS, but I always end up paying it anyway whenever I buy a car.

But this dealer wats to charge me $299, which is double what I was expecting.

What are you guys paying?

Thanks!

this IS BS, you are doing a convienience to them, your coming to them to buy their product. It's not like they are dropping by your house for a test drive.....

In any case though, unless you misworded and are talking about dealer handling fee, which is around the same price, there should be no other fees associated. If this is not the dealer handling fee your referring to, they are trying to vacuum your pockets out!

Zero. All I payed was the price of the car and sales tax. It is amazing how creative dealers find ways to make people part with their money...

I didn't even mention the $189 that on there for "VIN Etching". At least that says "Optional" next to it and I'm obviously going to opt out of it.

I believe the Conveyence Fee is their handling fee, for what that's worth.

Look at the window tag - if it's not on there, dont pay it. Even some options on there can be negotiated

Would never pay such a fee! Wouldn't deal with a dealer that hyped up their profit by trying to get over with such crap either.
