Convex mirrors..( I searched but...)
Not one person mentioned that these are becoming damaged over a period of time...i bought a pair and after a month one started to turn black, so I repalced it, now th driver side one is doing the same ...anyone have this problem...
I've had convex mirrors since i started driving so please don't preach aboput adjusting my mirrors differently ...

i remember you used double sided tape to put 'em on in your previous post a while back... how does that affect heated mirror? does it still work?
as far as those mirrors turning black, i dunno what to tell ya... can you snap a pic & post it?

I'm guessing Hek's talking about the little round stick on ones, not the multivex. I have the multivex and couldn't be happier with them.
'By the way NDX, they have no effect on the heater, you stick them on and run a bead of clear silicon around the top and sides, the heater should continue to work.
If Hek's got the cheap ones, they are only metallic spray on plastic, they aren't glass. If yours are turning black I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's your window cleaner.

Hey those multivex look awesome...but I'm so used to checking the small mirrors and they have worked fine for all these years I'm not sure what to think...grr...maybe I'll save the reciept next time I buy a pair and see how long they last....thanks for the replies...

Ok kids, here is the mirror, it's kind of blurry but you get the picture, I know South of the border I would have had the Vatican calling me for what appears to be an apparition with a halo ...just kidding... 0
