for DEPO lights go to ebay. you'll find the tail lights as well as smoked front and rear side markers (which look better than the OEM side markers IMO) for $200. not a bad deal...

where did you get your decklid spoiler? im assuming it is infact the type-s spoiler (different than the base lip), right?

i think you're talking about the CSL and not the type-s spoiler. it's a pretty sweet look if it's molded right

Don't know where everyone else lives, but the TL-S wannabe's
are a dime a dozen.

A very nice white TL pulled off I-95 in front of me, nice rims, and
he floored it when I pulled off for gas and smokes.

Thought is, you can try to make your TL look better, but in the end,
the winner is the guy with the better car. And that doesn't mean the dipshit in the twin turbo civic trying to take on the Vette.

^^ nothing wrong with trying to change a couple things around if you like the look of the Type S. I did the same thing when I had my 07 base TL. I finally got sick of spending all the money to make it look like one so I seold and bought a KBP Type S. Couldnt be happier!!!
P.S. I wouldnt cheap out on parts get the real Honda parts you wont be dissappointed. Depo stuff is affordable but lacks in quality (regardless of what people say).
Get the Type S wheels, tails, rear side markers, lip spoiler, and now that you cleared your headlights you should have blacked them out to since Type S has black headlights.

that's all well and good, but we're talking about making a base TL look more like the Type-S bc frankly it's more attractive and aggressive looking. and what's with this statement: "but in the end, the winner is the guy with the better car"...your argument is completely irrelevant. the fact that we are trying to make our cars look aesthetically nicer has nothing to do with claiming to be a "better" car. but if your comparing apples to apples (TL to TL-S), my base 6MT w/ AEM V2 would most likely take the 5AT TL-S.

I agree that noting beats OEM quality, very true statement...BUT in the case of the tailights the differences are so minor it's not worth spending 50% more IMO (DEPO lights/ side makers~$200 where OEM lights + side markers~$300+). check out some of the threads on this topic (that's how i made up my mind). Being the owner of an AM the DEPO lights actually match my color better and also I personally like the look of the side markers a little better
