Don't forget the steering wheel and the front seats with the type s badge and stitching. And the intake manifold that says nothing versus the 3.2 vtec manifold you will have.

Just buy a type s and save or finance the couple grand extra versus coming out of pocket to make cosmetic mods.

Or just buy a base be happy with it and spend 3k on performance mods.

This is like buying an integra GSR and putting a type R badge on it. Even though the biggest different the type R has is the rear suspension that is made into the car and can not be copied or borrowed.

Honestly everyone made a good point but if your going to buy an 04 for 10k I would rethink that....NYC craiglist has a couple type s for 13k with ok miles on them....weigh out your options homie I wanted to do a type s conversion but Im just going to settle with the front bumper just because I want fog lights lol

 

Lucky for me when i bought my 06 TL it was already TL-S converted
I probably would've done it anyways though...
