That's copyrighted material that you posted. It's not a good idea, it may get the host of this forum in trouble.

Thanks for the article, DMZ. I am surprised that the Michelins were not at the top of the list.

Funny when you look at the categories you would think the proxes woulod have been on top. I guess the categories were given different weight. Dulnev not to worry about copyright since were not a commercial concern.

Those are not the pilot sport a/s (they are the summer version), same with the PZero Neros

That could be the reason for the rating.

Also, consumers does not look at re-vulconization which the Goodyears traditionally do, which makes them hard and slippery in the wet a few years down the road.

Ask any tire dealer and they will tell you this.

Tread,

For good performance and excellent ride and low noise which tire is best, seems like you know yer stuff. I don't need to road race so ride and very low noise are most important to me.

Norse, thanks for the comp.

What I am about to say you will read many places, from mags to web sites.

Every tire is a compromise, and what you have asked for (performance, ride and low noise) are hard to find in one tire.

I have yet to find a performance tire that is not loud after a few thousand miles.

With what you selected as your most important features, noise and ride, that opposes what I like.

I will try to answer your questions, but I need to know one more key element, do you need All-Season tires (another compromise in the tire design)?
