So the big day is tomorrow. I have an appt at 430pm at the dealership. I am doing one final test drive on the interstate to ensure I like everything at cruising speed
I really never thought I would be in the position to own a low mileage navi equipped 3G TL. It is surreal.
One of the biggest stressors right now is going to be getting to know and trust the TL, something that I have had with the Accord for the past 3 years. But I think the TL will be good to me...at least I hope I can get to trust it as much as my Accord

You'll find a lot of similarities between the two cars, but appreciate the differences.
Best of luck!

So I am supposed to be leaving around 4 lol and I have not even started to clean out the Accord? Should I even bother? I want the car. I dont want tranny problems! I know I will love the car and everything about it. I don't want to put 10000 miles on it and the tranny going lol! I suppose it would be out of my hands anyway. And who is to say the Accord will stay running well? Just venting here. Needed a place to put down thoughts.

Yeah the dealer is actually giving me a 1 year/ unlimited mileage powertrain coverage through an outside company(diamond warranty corp) that is already wrapped up in the list price. I cleaned out the accord.

You're overthinking the transmission thing. Only a very small percentage of the 04 TL had transmission problems. Just enjoy the car!

Well I bought it. I have been out and about with the car all night. I really love it. It feels so weird like I am just borrowing the car, but it is actually mine. The tranny is sooooo super smooth. I have a one year unlimited mileage power train warranty so I hope if I have the issues it will happen before next July. I will take pics and post them tomorrow

Word I am just going to drive the car and enjoy it. I am in love with it. I did notice that the cold start up idle is rough. Anyone else have this? My accord did it too. Smooth as can be when it starts to warm up.

What do you all think? I really dont like the way the car idles after it sits over night and is first started. It feels really bad lol. But as soon as the car starts to warm up or I put it in gear it stops???

Also is it normal when turning the key into the ON position for the drive and park gear indicator lights to come on? The drive light goes out after start up and park stays on.

Pics aren't working But it may just be my computer.
And my Accord is an auto and does the drive park thing, so I think it's normal.

So I just did my first fill up since I got the car Thursday. It is getting a real world around town 23mpg, I calculated it myself not with the trip computer. I'm happy with that because it is just about the same as the Accord which was 24-25 on a good week.
