confusion and accident question
So i was involved in an accident the other day. I was doing about 30 MPH when i went over the curb, and all four wheels went over. My car ended up on a sidewalk about 6 inches off the street.
(BTW i did NOT cause the accident)
My question is... do you think this will cause any damage to the suspension or any other components?
The adjuster is going to be looking at it on friday, and i want to know if this is something i should put emphasis on when he looks at it.
Also, i will be taking my car to a shop where the adjuster will be meeting me. I was wondering why the reason for this is. I guess so someone could thoroghly inspect the car, or does it sound like the adjuster has a deal with this shop and is going to quote a lower damage/fix amount. The last accident i was involved in, the adjuster came to my home.
any thoughts?
thanks in advanced

not vtech... VTEC!!!
at least in Maryland I can take my car to any shop I want. The insurance company can give you some recommendations but the final decision rest on me.
If you don't like what you hear tomorrow ask them you would like a 2nd opinion from another bodyshop.
Another question, is this adjuster from your insurance company or at-fault party's?

One on the right for me
The last time I had to deal with an insurance adjuster I chose a shop not on their "list." That wasnt a problem, but the adjuster wanted to work out the labor rate with the shop. Fucker wound up knocking off 5 dollars an hour so my check was 35 dollars less than I thought it was going to be.
If a shop is looking at the car I'm sure they wont overlook any possible damage to the suspension.
