Comptech Exhaust Tips

if anyone wants oem style tips for Comptech mufflers i will fabricate them for you.

it would only cost you materials + shipping costs, i'll donate my time.

i would need your help finding trapezoidal stainless tubing (height=3.75", long side=5.25", short side=4", and 1/8" or 3/32" wall thickness).

i would also need close-up pics of comptech on the car from 3 angles so i can estimate the proper position of a nub tube.

you would then need to find someone who could TIG it on for you.

wouldnt it be easier to just cut the tips off the oem mufler and then weld them onto the comptech mufflers? thats what im doing with the magnaflow mufflers...if i dont like it then i can just cut them off and reweld them onto the oem mufflers. it seems like a fun project though, good luck with that.

no i didnt get the stainless ones b/c they look like crap. i wouldnt mind having the stainless mufflers but magnaflow did such a god awful job designing them that its a waste of money. im tucking as much of the muffler as i can behind the bumper so you dont really see any of it. i gues with the comptech system you do see a lot of the stainless muffler.
