Comptech cat back exhaust

What does everyone really think of the Comptech cat back exhaust system?

If the dyno figures hold true, this could be a mod that I would do. However, I do agree with 3Putt, it is priced too high at $1095.

The tips don't bother me as much as they do some others.

I like the look, but way overpriced. Comptech needs to reconsider the price. Its out of control.

The Good: I'm sure fit is excellent and that it probably sounds better (to most people) than anything else that will come out - based on what I've seen in the 2nd gen TL/CL. It sounds like this system produces some decent hp and torque gains across the rev range. Price is steep but appropriate considering the engineering, quality contruction, and materials.

The Bad: The round tips don't look as good on the car as the stock tips. It's not so much that they look bad, it's that the look changes from special and unique to common.

yeah the price is a little high for an exhaust. the tips really contrast the overall look of the bumper. i would have to pass on this item.

One THOUSAND dollars for (I believe) 6 HP?

I am trying to do the math here, and, ahhhh, it's really NOT adding up.

Guys, correct me here...

Ugly, with little power boost for $1100.

Why bother?

better off just swapping out mufflers with magnaflow or spintech.
