Is this common

Okay so when I run my A/C and lets say for example Im at a stop light every few seconds I can feel a vibration/shutter whatever you wanna call it "it's like the engine revs up and down a bit", is this common when running the ac it's kind of annoying but at the click of the button "turning the ac off" it stops, it also doesn't do this while in park just in drive. Thanks in advance the replies guys it's very helpful to have a site like this

Yep. Totally normal. When the AC clutch engages it pulls power so the engine idles up to compensate.

Okay cool deal then! I often times worry over nothing I just know I have been in cars before and hadn't been able to feel it, leading me to think in this case I needed freon or something! Again thanks for your replies I can't tell you how many times Acurazine has saved me a trip to the dealer

It's normal. If the vibrations are excessive it could be a different issue associated with your motor mounts.

Only if he really needs them.

I had that engine neutralization done at Acura and it took care of most of the engine vibration I was experiencing when I purchased the car. No need to spend money on the XLR8 mounts unless he needs to.

Your money....have at it. When mine goes I'll swap them for XLR8's. Right now the stock ones are fine.

What the heck is this?

***edit: Nevermind. I searched and found they just loosen all the bolts and jostle the motor around so it's good and settled. Then they torque all the bolts back down in proper sequence. Same thing you do when torquing suspension bolts AFTER the car is on the ground.
