Colour and Tires?

Excuse me for posting this previously in the wrong forum. I'm going to acquire a new '06 TL shortly and I have two questions.

1. I leave the car outside much of the time so I need a low maintenance colour. Which would be better on this car, the white or the silver? Which would resist water spots and swirl marks better?

2. The 6sp here in Canada comes with Potenzas as OEM. I hate those tires as I've had bad experiences with them. Has anyone switched tires as part of the deal? I'd like them to switch even up with the Michelin Pilot Sports. Is it possible?
Thanks for the help.

1. Go with Silver....over time even though silver will fade.....white will YELLOW...silver will just fade as silver does....and its more of a low maintanance color and even though its one of the hard colors to paint match if u ever run into a boo boo....White is probably the hardest...so that plus for silver

2. what MIO said...

1. Go with Silver, I have yet to see a White where the bumpers match rest of the car.

2. Good luck, anything that costs the dealer will result in higher transaction prices.

If people can live with the Turanza's you can live with the Potenza's. Just don't rotate them and you will need new tires by 20,000 miles.

1. SSM
2. Negotiate. You can get what you want if you negotiate well.

Get the Carbon Bronze Pearl, so that people will know even from a distance that it's an '06.

You're going to have to wash the car occasionally anyway, so don't let that dictate the colour options you have.

Bronze Pearl is the ugliest color TL there is, IMHO.

Get Silver or Anthracite
