Color matching the front grill

I had painted the front cross member of the front grill (the part that holds the A) and the color was slightly off, now that rock chips have taken a toll, it is time to repaint.
I was wondering if anyone had found a paint color that was a near perfect match to the surrounding portion?

Umm...what color do you have? I got my color code in a spray can and painted mine, perfect match, but IDK how to avoid the rock chips. Mines all f*ed up now but its going to be professionally painted this time.

If you want both the inner, bottom part of the bumper grille, and the cross bar to match perfectly, both parts need to be painted with the same paint.

One of the slight problems is that the inner part, that's pat of the actual bumper is a light textured plastic, painted with a fine semi-metallic dark gray satin color. Dupli-Color probably has a close color. But if your painting with a gloss paint, the inner part really needs to be sanded down well, to knock down the texture, and/or prime/re-sand the area.

Yes power flow is correct, I am trying to color match the inner and outer, not my car to the inner.
I am aware that the outter is part of the bumper and to avoid nasty overspray, or running the risk of messing up the actual bumper I was looking to get a damn close matched paint and paint the inner only.

Your going to have to settle with close or really close. The bumper part is textured, and has a fine semi-metallic dark gray satin finish as I mentioned, so it will be tough to get close. Depends on who's looking at it thought, only certain people with the eye for color will notice.

I would just paint both parts.
