Code name for 3rd gen. TL??

Code name for 3rd gen. TL??

hi, i'm new and i asked the same question in TSX forum. but i would also like to know what the code name for TL is. or is it just called 3rd gen TL?

by the way, your cars are hot!!

you mean like a name comparable to "E36, E39" etc for BMW's? That's the chassis name, and I don't know what it is, sorry.

I was under the impression that in Japan the TSX was the Accord and the RL was the Legend. I was told that in Japan that the TL is called the Inspire.

Japan----------------Canada/US
Integra------------------RSX
Accord------------------TSX
Inspire (new)---------Accord (new accord)
Inspire (old)-------------TL (old TL)

I thought the TL was an extremly modified accord body, much stiffer, different styling, etc.

I think UA6 is the code you're lookin for.

well because so many things cross over, like the exhaust layout.. the cm6/8 have 3 cats as well as our TLs... they share basically the same J motor. the CM6 sway bar is exactly the same for our TL 5AT. a lot of little things that are the same like this. What honda did was just re-use some technology and knowlege base. it's not the same chassis, but some things do transfer over.
