so my Co worker has a bone stock 03 350z, and my 03 tl-s auto motor is about stock except for the intake, and he thinks he drive a Lambo! so you could imagen all the shit this guy talks, what do you guys think?? posible?

Is his 350Z MT or AT?

Either way, I think he'd edge you out.

I raced a 350Z the other day and I beat him by about 1 car (I am almost fully bolted).

You might be able to keep up with him...I've kept even with a few from dig but that might be cuz the driver sucked

I've raced quite a few g35's and 350z's.(dunno the years) I have an 07 type-s and I can edge out g35's but still have yet to beat a 350z. They alway's seem to pull on me.

Just bear in mind, a well driven 6MT Z can run upper 13s. Nothing super but should be quicker than an 02-03 TL-S with an intake only.

Install the headers, get the tune up and then run him. Let us know how you do.

do the mods first otherwise you don't have much chance unless he screws up.

I'll let you guys know as soon as we line it up, also the guy sucks at driving, he as a heavy foot as for what i seen, plus i'm a way better driver. but i guess we have to see what happens.

+1. I think the Z will take you, even after your bolt-ons.

Unless he screws up really bad on the launch and shifting he is gonna smoke you badly.
I used to have a 03 CL-S 5AT and a friend of mine had a 04 350Z 6MT(stock at the time), he is a good driver but not great. I kept up with him off the launch and up to about 30MPH.... he pulled me pretty hard after that, from a roll he smoked me every time. They are solid high 13 second cars with decent drivers, I have seen some 13.7X times run at the track with stock cars.

FWIW I also played around with him when I had my 06 TL which in my opinion was slower than my 03 CL-S, when I got my 07 Type S we messed around a little from a roll and he still pulled on me, not really bad but was creeping away.

That's pretty much how I felt after having driven the 04 TL and 03 TL-S.

On topic (and not unlike the case of my 07 AV6), the AT is a major impedement when it comes to the TL-S' ability run well against the Z.

hm...i've raced ONE Z before, and i ended up winning by a car's length. the driver was, dare i say, a mistress! just had a cai and comptech's exhaust @ the time
