Got a new clutch put in and the clutch pedal came out of adjustment. I had to adjust it myself so I could drive it but it still feels like engagement is too low to the floor. Does anyone know where I can find the specs of how far the clutch pedal should be from the floor?
Ever since I got my clutch replaced, I was having issues intermittently with the clutch engagement. I got the master and slave replaced with the job. Just thought I needed to adjust the pedal a bit so I did and that seemed to fix it. The only problem was it kept feeling like it kept coming out of adjustment (notchy shifting, clutch engaging lower) so I would adjust it back and it would be fine again. As I was adjusting it the other day I ran out of thread to adjust the CMC rod. I attached a picture for reference. Now, whenever I get it to a place where it will shift right, I run out of thread and it falls out of the bracket. I feel like there shouldn’t be so little thread at the point of correct engagement…any ideas on what I’m doing wrong? Tomorrow, I’m going to start from the clutch switch and take all the measurements again. This is when it detached the first time. But that seems like the point where it will shift correctly. Any point before this, it either doesn’t go into gear or it goes in very rough.
