Clutch Feel

I just recently have felt a....jeez this is harder than I thought to explain. When I push down the clutch I feel like there is a cable attached (obviously) but I actually can feel it on my foot. Does this make sense>? And is this normal. When I first bought the car in November when putting down the clutch you would not feel a thing, now there is a little feeling of ....I am ramblin> Anyone have any clue what I am trying to say?

Actually you shouldn't "feel" any cable since the clutch is hydraulic!

DITTO! I feel them when i shift at high RPM i.e. 5000~6000 rpm.

I don't think its anything. Sometimes I don't feel them when I shift normally but I feel a good amount when I push the car.

The guys on some well known publications have made the same faux pas. What you are probably feeling is the effect of the electric (by wire) gas pedal. Although the tranny linkage is direct the gas pedal gets computer input which vary the revs and so on depending on how the gas pedal is used. SOme people around here refer to it as rev matching I dont know if that is real or not.

Alright the more I pay attention to it, it is just like a creaking noise that I am feeling. It is almost like it needs lubed up or something. This is a first manual tranny to me so I am not sure what is wrong. It is not a bad clutch already is it.
