Hey guys. I ran over a manhole that was elevated from the ground. I guess the TL was too low to clear it. Anyway, the front splash guard broke and the bumper got scratched up on the bottom. I unbolted the splashguard and rebolted it. It is holding up fine now. I was able to polish out most of the scratches too. I am pretty happy since this could have been worse. My question is, you know how when you scratch your TL, under the paint it looks black? If I leave these small blacl spots alone, will they be okay and not get worse?

I want to touch them up but I need to buy some touch up paint. What is Curry Acura's phone number and what was the name of the nice guy there? Thanks all!

Nevermind about Curry Acura guys. My Acura dealer had it for $3.99. For some reason I thought they were going to charge like $20+ for it. lol

Damn, that's a tall manhole.

 

The plastic parts are black. You can safely leave them as they are since no corrosion will occur in those areas.
