lol .. right on.. I actually parked first .. reason why I leave some space in my spot comes from experience with an older car .. learned the hard way: someone rammed into my car and left it all hanging on the ground.. when it was time to leave work, I was livid .... this guy above actually got talked to.

I know don't get me started ... hate a plate upfront. That's where they place them unfortunately.. I think any higher would look ever worse what do you think?

I think it will look better higher up. second to the last picture looks too much like a beaver or a rabbit.

the best is when you park all the way in the back away from everyone and someone parks right next to you.

The plate assembly looks like they put it on upsidedown? Causing it to be lower than normal.....I would put it in the oem spot or do what bforbrian did and make a plate assembly off to the side attached to the lower grill.

I would not be a happy guy if I came out and saw that. as far as the front plate goes I don't like having one either.

This is what I decided to do with my front plate.

and OP i have my plates exactly the same way as well....i cut out a wedge on the side of the frame so that it fits perfectly over the a-spec !!! i like it there....better there than not having it and getting a ticket !!! (unless ofcourse hide-aways )

throw a smoked cover on top of it....will look wayyyy better !!!

It comes from swift motorsport. The price is around $150. I bought 2 of them at the same time, he gave me a deal. I drive with the plate up but I do like the option of putting it away for shows/meets.

no the back is different. I didnt do that one, it folds down. You have to do some drilling to put the one on the back. (at least the ones I have seen) Not looking to hide my plates from the law just for looks with the front one.

the install was very easy (about 45 minutes). There is just a pos. and neg. that goes right to the battery. Comes with 2 remotes.

you can also get the cheaper one. You have to hide the plate by hand no remote control. I think that one is about $60

People would hate me if I posted a thread for every time this has happened to me. It's sickening.
