I was browsing through service manual this morning and found this. Maybe helpful or just a little unknown fact to 3G owners.

 

Thx for sharing. Also discussed (along with other interesting features) in a YouTube vid (see first vid below). Learned about some additional features, too, from the 2nd vid by the same guy.

 

This diagnosis is intresting as regards to the issue of changing farenheit to celcius and milies to kilometers. The diagnosis soft shows celcius and kilometers. So maybe it is possible to change the metrics. What is more, I've found out that here in Poland, there is guy that offers changing metrics from imperial to meteic.
