I live in CA and had mine done in Glendale by Rego? (don't remember the name exactly) I had my turnsignals cleared and the housing painted black.

Back when I got my car last year, there was a guy called Mr. who cleared the turn signals. I think he was in NJ. I don't know if he's still doing them, but you can do a search and email him.

These are mine. Someone else tinted the reflector black and I think that looks much better. Also if you look closely you'll notice that the chrome ring around the HID lights are painted too. I recommend that you do NOT do this. I think it looks far better with the chrome ring. If you like the black ring.....maybe we can work a trade?

The turn signals work surprisingly well without the reflector. There's a little reflector-like piece behind the bulb:

I got amber bulbs.

But I still think that tinting the orange reflector is the best option.

That's what I've been talking about. I think tinting the reflector is better than removing it and painting the housing black.
There is someone on these forums who tinted his reflector black. I forget his name and well...you do the search I think I've taxed these forums enoough today with all my inane searches.
