Clearing out front grille, TL?

http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0201_large.jpg

I was wondering how to clear out the front bar/acura symbol out of the grille like in this picture. Was it cut out, sanded, and bondo maybe then painted? how would you do this type of grille?

DIY here:

and that is exactly how you do it...cut, sand, bondo, then vinyl.

The one in the picture is the one you can buy. Notice the double trim on the bottom. Better just to do it yourself.
