My goodness I cannot freaking stand the orange nagging service lights. I get it! I need an oil change (according to the computer) and I'm within the last 15%. My Acura dealer which is an hour away and I cannot get our schedules to match up and its really pissing me off. I want to just go to a quick oil change place and get this done. So my question is how can I clear out this ridiculous and VERY annoying orange screen that consumes my information screen everytime I turn on the car?

I shouldn't have to drive a freaking hour just to get a $40 oil change. It's not rocket science and Valvoline will do it 5 minutes away, in 5 minutes, and for $25.

 

Don't you have a Honda dealer closer? They do it same as Acura .. Closest Acure dealer to me is 4 hours .. Honda dealer 15 min. And they will also do minor warranty stuff for Acura.

 

You can go anywhere to get your oil changed.

hold reset button down, put in key, proceed until 2nd lock position, do not start engine, you will see a menu pop up after about 30 secs.

 

^ wow someone done gave you the long instructions

just hit sel/reset for 10 seconds when you see the naggin "service due soon" on the mid, and a screen will pop up saying v^ cancel select/reset ok

car doesnt have to be with the ignition off/on it doesnt matter after 10 seconds it will prompt you to clear or leave it as is
