Trade in program

This is for people who cant afford to have their car off of the road. I'll send you a set of cleared/finished headlights, you swap them for your stock ones and send the stock ones back to me. I will need a down payment of $400 for the headlights up front, upon receiving your headlights, I'll refund $275 or $250 depending on what you have done to the headlights.

Buyers will be responsible for shipping charges that I'd have to endure to send them the headlights.

I'll start a thread soon with the official list etc.

ZKW swap

At the moment I have three sets of ZKW lenses. One is spoken for at the moment by Ussi, so in fact I have only two sets. The lenses are $250 a pair in addition to what ever a member decides to have done to the headlight i.e. cleared/painted.

This is going well guys. First person to get the swap would be someone who just wants the cleared headlights. I have a set of 04-05 headlights cleared up and ready to be shipped so the first person to post for a cleared set of headlights can have a set as soon as by the end of this week. Once I get headlights back from that person I'll get to as2222's set i.e. cleared and blacked out.

AS222, if you just want to send in your headlights you can go ahead and PM me info.

Jokernum, I dont have any type S headlights at the moment neither do I have any 06 or 08+ headlights, but to members who want theirs done they are more than welcome to send the headlights in, turn around time depends on transit time, I can do the headlights in a day and have them shipped out the next day.

BTW for people who want their headlights blacked out, you have two choices.

Either have the whole thing blacked out i.e. the turn signal indicator would be completely painted.

Other option would be the bottom one where the reflector part would be left chrome and the rest of it would be painted black.

sorry, i needed more detail but i'd have to do a swap.

If you could send me ANY TL headlights that'll fit into the 07 tl-s, that'll be great. i don't really have to drive around at night time. if i receive them during the week, i can take off my bumper and have them sent out on Monday and you'll receive them the next morning.

Is there an option for getting in 2 extra projectors for the DRL part and having them run 9006 for a brighter output?

Also, will the clear bra on the headlights be a problem?

Read the first post , this is a sponsored GB otherwise the thread would have been locked by now .


AS2222: A better choice would be to just send me the headlights if you can afford to have the car off of the road for at least a week. It would cost you tons on shipping for the back and forth shipping of headlights.


This group buy is limited for now to 10 members only, I am sure by the time I discuss the details and show them their options the list would get modified since trade in is only for 04-05 headlights at the moment.

The 04-05 headlights would fit the 06 models as well but for that you'd have to do a ballast trade in. The 06 ballasts are a hair smaller than the 04-05 but the power input plugs are the same. If someone agrees to the ballast/headlight trade in program then I'd have to send them the 04-05 headlights I have along with a set of 04-05 ballasts. Upon install they 'd have to send their headlights with ballasts back to me.

For people with 07+ headlights and Type S headlights, I am sorry to inform that the 07 models are tough to get headlights for, I havent had a chance to find a mint set so trade in isnt available. If you are willing to send your headlights in to have them worked on then you are more than welcome to do so.

Also note that the program will take a couple of months to complete due to transit time so there shouldnt be any rush.

Hey, JnC.......You should probably STOP posting pictures of my car and my headlights because you did not do the work. That work was done by me, so please post some pics of your own work for the members to see.

I haven't surfed this forum in about a year and I come back to see pictures of my headlamps being used as a sales tool for a vendor. If you are going to use those images, at least let the members know you did not do that work, and I did.
