Clear headlights question
Clear headlights question
Hey Everyone,
I'm brand new to this site, also fairly new to doing my own modifications. For starters I have a 2006 TL, Pearl white 6spd MT with the full A-Spec package. My question is I'm about to order some clear headlights. The limited info on the website where I will be purchasing them claims, the headlights are a "100% full replacement for the 04 and 05 models, but on the 06 requires minor modifications for the thinner 2006 stock ballast to fit" I was just wondering if anyone has done this mod on the 06 model, and what exactly has to be done. Any advice I could get would be appreciated. If you wanna see what I'm talking about for yourself. Heres the link http://www.uniquestyleracing.com/200...420052006.html

instead of spending $500 on these headlights why dont you just spend $0 and clear out your own headlights?
or if you dont know how, send it to someone who does know how and it will STILL cost you less than $500 after everything

rather than buy replacements, check in with our vendors JnC and AckTL who do these all the time! They have trade in programs so you have no down time with your car and plus they use OEM parts and have a great reputation with their work here!
I've heard you can cook em for a little while to get the orange reflector out, I just wasn't sure what the end result would look like, From what you guys said though it sounds like I have some other more inexpensive options. thanks
