Clear bra in winter

Hey guys - do you think its a bad idea to get the clear bra installed in the winter months. I've read some about the air bubbles leaving and curring happening over time. I'm worried that the adhesive and air bubbles could freeze.

By the way, I get my new 05 6MT NAVI within the next week.

I think you'll be fine, it just may take longer to cure .. If you can, leave it in the sun, that'll help, or maybe a hairdryer in the garage ..

Thanks for the thoughts Brewmaster. I was thinking similar to you maybe a spaceheater in the garage would help the process

it may take longer to cure, but otherwise it should not matter.

if you wait till spring, you car will be already chipped. most people do not realize how much cars chip, believe me. i see cars all the time with less then 100 miles and half a dozen chips on them already.

do not use hairdryer. there is no reason. if you park inside, the heat coming from the engine after you leave it overnight will help cure the film

a piece of advise, get the bra ASAP and stay chip free.

good luck, mark 3m bra man.

Question:
Does it really make sense to spend $ on clear-bra-ing the BUMPER/FRONT SPOILER ?
I mean it's all platic anyway.

Yes, it is all plastic, but it is painted, that means will chip and look ugly.

matelot, most of the kits are cut for the front end and if you just want a certain part of the package, I'm sure a vendor can accomodate you. After all, this is a PPF package and was designed to protect the finish regardless if metal or plastic.
