If properly installed, you should not be able to tell it is there.

The brake in the body lines (in this case the end/top of your a-spec piece) should make the line pretty invisible.

Good luck, Mark.

Here is XPEL's pattern for the TL:

Did you do the job yourself? I had mine installed by a professional and it looked difficult, especially the bumper area which required 2 experienced installers and this alone took at least 2 hours (I do not have the A spec body kit). I can see doing the hood myself, but the bumper? No way!

Funny, I was just thinking about this the other night. I definitely want to put the A-Spec package on my TL when I get it, but you'd better believe a clear bra is going on it as soon as possible. Can the clear bra go over the A-Spec bumper? (Not on the black plastic, obviously - but to it) Or is it not worth putting it on the A-Spec bumper?

I know it's kinda difficult to visualize, but the front lip on Jerky's TL is covered. Here's a diagram of the pre-cut pattern from the Xpel site. The first one is with the front lip spoiler and the 2nd one is w/o.

question:

I have the clearbra already installed on my car. If I install the A-Spec front spoiler can I have it put on over the existing clearbra or do I have to have it removed?

Send a PM to Mark 3M Bra Man (see post #6). He does installs and would probably have the best response to that question.

Talking

Yendor,

I would have it put on over the existing bra and then add the proteciton over the A-Spec piece. I am considering putting the kit on my TL myself and that is what I would do. Just a cleaner look.

Otherwise, have them remove the bra ONLY where they will put the A-spec and then reapply on the A-Spec piece.

Good luck and let me know if you will have any additional questions.

Mark.

p.s. you got PM
