clear bra??
clear bra??
I just purchased a 04 TL and am wanting to get the clear bra on it. The dealer wants 800 for it, i haven't priced compared two other companies here in sac that do it but was wonder if anyone has dealt with the product, 1 is invinca-shield and the other is Clear shield , does anyone recommend any one of these?
Hey, Congrats on your purchase. There is a clear bra installer in Sac. I don't know what they charge tho.

J&M,
Sorry I cannot answer your question though thought this might be helpful to you.
In the bay area lot of people have installed from Insiguard. And have paid around $670 for full kit. They come to your home nd install it. Jeremy is on the forum and does a very good and professional install for Xpel, he might tell you their local installer. Send a PM to invisiguard user. If this helps you.

try the search, what what?
Yes J&M, you'll find many threads on the clear bra if you search with those words.
I'm happy with my Xpel (3M) extended kit, even though the rock hit my hood just where the bra ended! It cost $680, after some negotiation (and to compensate for a 7-hour session which failed to install the first time); $800 is not that high, methinks.

Dear Nor Cal TL owners:
RAVE: Invisiguard
Yesterday, (sunday, oct 17th) I got my clear bra installed (read thread above) from Jeremy at Invisiguard. He did a fantastic job, was very polite and professional, and offered great service and support if the need would arise.
Pricing
He also offered me a "forum" discount, which was a big plus as some other guy wanted 2 hundred more for the same or similar work
Product
The film was precut and fit the body and aspec package pretty well. (there are some improvements that could happen from some of the shapes, but the most important parts are protected) He showed me some of the samples and this film is VERY tough…
Location
Jeremy agreed to meet me in a variety of location, however we settled on meeting at a shop at San Rafael, the whole process took about 3 hours (got some good reading done, chatted a bit with Jeremy)
Install
The visible lines on my SSM are similar to any other pictures you see on cars, they are not that visible, my fiancé did not notice it, even when i pointed it out (ok she doesnt care about my car that much, as I guess I don't care about her shoes
but it looks great to me)
Protection
When I drove to meet my friends down in south bay, I got out and looked at the front and was amazed at how much debris, bugs and crap had already hit the bra…I was relived knowing that my “real” car was protected and I can not worry about my actual paint being chipped or damaged.
Im going to start a new thread called "bay area TL owner raves" or something like that, where we can recommend vendors in the area.
Overall, I give 5 stars in service and recommend Invisiguard to other bay area TL owners.
