Cleaning Interior of Type-S
Hey guys I need some help. I have tried to different things to clean the inside of my 08 Type-S. I am trying to clean the dash and up around the windshield and over the glove box. Well I tried the Armour All wipes, those left streaks. Then I went with the Meguiar's Quick Interior Details. Sprayed it onto an applicator pad. Well I think it still looks like shit. Seems to be there are some spots that look darker than others. Like it was applied thinner in some areas, well I know it wasn't. Just seems to show streaks here and there.
So what do you guys use and does it do a good job? I just need to wipe down the vinyl, or leather, whatever it is up on top of the dash. Just seems really hard to clean and get the good shinny black look I am wanting. Thanks guys.

You would do better posting this in the Wash and Wax section. But for my 08 TL-S's dash I use a clean MF towel with ONLY water to clean the dust. Then I follow up with 303 potectant. It's not glossy or matte, it's kind of a semi-gloss so it doesn't reflect light to blind you and it's the best with a SPF of 40. Careful not to get this on any of the plastic sections of your dash, such as your Navi and gauge cluster.
As far as leather, clean the leather using a mix of water and Woolite, then follow up with a conditioner or cleaner/conditioner. I use Meguires. It may not be the best but I like it.
Reminds me that I need to give my car a good once over. Have fun!!

The irregularities, like mentioned could be a semi dirty surface (you might not see it). Like mentioned above, use a 1:10 ratio of woolite and water and clean the dash and seats. then apply some kind of protectant.

The Acura/Honda protectant from the dealer supposedly also works well. Acura/Honda also has a cleaner that should be used before the protectant.
