Cleaning interior ceiling

I have a few stains - nothing too serious - that are on the interior ceiling of my '04 TL. Anyone have any suggestions on how to clean this part of the car? I'm thinking a damp clean cloth should be fine but I thought I'd throw this out there before I actually do anything. I don't want to ruin or worsen the ceiling.

Thanks!

ive used the tape like lint rollers in the past. but that may not be the best for spotty stains, its just good for general upkeep. you'll be surprised how much dirt is there, especially if you keep your windows rolled down often while u drive.

try WD-40 on some white paper towels, after you get the stain off, wipe off the residue with a damp cloth!

There used to be this "dry cleaning pad" i got from Walmart once, it took off all the surface dirt... it was like a puffy thing with powder inside it. worked miracles to remove surface dirt.

I wouldn't do this because the oils in the WD-40 will atract more dirt later on.
