Clay bar
I did the whole Zaino program today. 3 1/2 hours of work. Great cleaner. It got too late, cool and moist at the end. At present, I don't know if I can say that this is the greatest ever but my car is anthracite, a tough color. I'll be able to say more after the second coat in the sun tomorrow.
I clay barred the snot out of it and couldn't pick up a thing. It was clean. So, I did it again, harder, still nothing.
That's good news, I guess.

It is OK that you don't see anything. The debris that you pick up can be very small, and it also gets worked into the clay.
I am sure that the car feels baby-butt smooth, yes?

I Zaino'ed my Anthacite TL today as well (car looks great although I think Zaino really looks amazing on the Black cars).
I have had the Zaino for a while for my other cars and have not purchased the newer ZFX flash cure (so I'm using the Z1 polish lock together with the Z5). I plan to put a second coat of Zaino on tomorrow as well, so I plan to use the Z2 for subsequent coats.
I have posted a question on this forum regarding the subsequent coats. Do I have to use the Z1 polish lock on every additional coat prior to the Z5 or Z2 (ie.. Does every additional coat have to be a two step process Z1/Z2 remove, Z1/Z2 remove, ....or can I just keep layering the Z2 (Z2 remove, Z2 remove.....).
Any insight would be appreciated...the directions seem unclear. It also seems like most people here are using the ZXF flash cure which I will definitely get in the future as it seems to really streamline the whole process.

Thanks partagas!!
I just got a reply to my previous Zaino thread as well from automophile.
The critical piece of information that I was missing was that the Z1 polish lock provides the layer for adhesion to the car's paint.
Now I can simply Z5 or Z2 until the shine blinds the neighbors.
Thanks again for taking the time to reply.......Very much appreciated as tomorrows polishing effort will be much more streamlined.
