I wouldn't be surprised. They'll need more than a turbo SOHC with 8-10lbs boost or swapped B18c1 or H22 with bolt ons to waste a TL-S. Our cars were pretty quick back in the day. I remember back in 2003 seeing brand new TL-S' and EVO's scrappin' on the freeway.

You should definitely post up vids.

This thread leaves a lot to the imagination...
I'm surprised that you are surprised.... I cant imagine any B16, or D16 with any mods keeping up with the TLS

And unless they are spooled up the turbo lag is probably killing a street B/D16.

None the less:::

i love our cars... but your friends have shitty swaps...

my bolted down h22 accord wagon would have wiped the floor with a UA5 TL-S (nearly got into sub 14's)
im not too sure but i think the guy who bought it now runs 8 lbs of boost and has gutted the interior. havent heard from him in a month or so.

if they are running the right set-up, a nicely modded 4 cylinder car will walk the TL-S (sorry tsvag)

but they are quick, for their time (respectively)

my friend has an 07' Honda Civic SI, (Honda Factory Performance) edition as well. I can take him 1-2-3 and then when I hit granny gear 4th, he over takes me.

BTW, I drive a bone stock TL-P, not even an S.

Those little tuners definitely go faster with less and can outrun the TL's with work, but I'm just saying it's common and overhyped to see B16's, B18's with a couple boltons or SOHC motors with a cheap turbokit, all which are making barely 170-180hp to the wheels (specs not known to the persons in awe of course). It's all pretty flashy and neat, but they're not THAT fast.

And yeah, H22 swapped accords will edge out a TLS by a couple car lengths. Hatchbacks with B18c are pretty fast too.
