Civic

A few months back some people were expressing concern, rather laughable in my opinion, that a new civic looks like a TL. So check this out:

Have they seen a TL before? People often get confused - I Get "wow your accord looks just like an 07 BMW M6".

I guess the headlights a LITTLE, only cause they are long and thin. But other than that, they pretty much are wrong. haha

Someone around here commented the other day saying, "Is that your civic parked out there?" The headlights do match the civic's lights pretty close just no projectors!!

That looks like my wife's Civic (EX) and my TL is similar to yours (2005 AM/Quartz, 6MT). When both cars are on the driveway they don't look similar at all.

Okay, they're both Honda's, have 5 spoke wheels and XM roof antenna!

I think the new 4 door Civic Si looks great. And its side view does have a similar shape.

AH a mutant!
The wheels help a bit, but you'd have to be a tad intoximicated, lol, to think it was a TL. Or just not know cars.

I can't stand the dash in the new civics, I had a CSX loaner (Jazzed up civic) and the dash is a mile long, it reminds me of the old pontiac lumina minivans (dust busters) form 91. I'm surprised honda let that interior to market.

What the hell. Even though the civic is a great economy/first car, my 12 year old sister wouldnt even make that mistake of mistaking that with a TL.

I will never buy a car with a digital speedomoter gauge. That gigantic mph number display would drive me nuts.

Whoever thinks that car looks like a TL needs to be kicked swiftly in the trachea and put out of their misery.

Personally I think the Civic looks way better than the TL. I would have sold my A-spec in a second if the Civic only had the same amount interior room or the fact the the dealer wants $30k for 4 door Si. I can't imagine giving up my TL + $6k to get one.

This is the third overall Civic I've owned, and though it looks nothing like a TL, I have nothing but praise for this car. The TL wheels do make it look better and give it a wider stance (235 versus 205 stock). And they fit perfectly by the way. So it's a way to put them to good use instead of just collecting dust in the garage.
