Chrome insert for door lock?

Hi. Does anyone know if I can get a chrome insert for the keyhole on the driver door handle?

The dealer has put several chips in mine by using the key instead of the fob, and touchup paint doesn't do it for me. A thin chrome or brushed aluminum insert would look good I think.

Anyone know if they are available?

How bad is it? If you are not planning to use the keyhole, you might look into the shaved door mod.. https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/quick-question-aftermarket-hu-125597/

Thanks. The same seller on eBay sells the standard version for $8 too (plus $4 shipping). I may get one of each and try it with no lock hole, but will probably end up regretting it when I take it in for service the first time ... "oh you didn't have a key hole in your door so we had to pry your door open with a crowbar ... and modified cars aren't covered under warranty - sorry."

Edit: I had no idea they were so cheap. My dealer didn't volunteer to replace it even though it was badly scratched - I didn't know my dealer was that cheap either.

awood, you will only need to purchase one. Only the driver side has a keyhole. The passenger side doesn't. Read the thread to find the exact part number to order.

The cover is easily removable. If your dealer needs to pry your doors open, then you need to find a better place. The FOB can open the door too.

You have a lot more faith in man's common sense than I do.
