I just traded in my 99 TL(non Navi) for a 04 TL NBP/Ebony Navi at Woodfield Acura in Schaumburg, IL (Chicago).. Most places in Chicago/Wisconsin were only giving 300-600 off MSRP but with some negotiating I got it for $34195 with protection package plus I got 9000 for my 99 that had 89k miles and it needed tires. I also got the 100k/0 deductible Acura Extended warranty for $1395. I am very happy with the car as is my wife who wanted me to trade the 99 in for a ES330. One drive in the 04 TL and she was hooked...

Other than overpaying on the extended warranty (you shouldn't be paying any more than $1200 for this, more like $1100-1150), sounds like you came out alright.

Congrats on the purchase! I put down a down payment at McGrath Acura in Morton Grove (just north of chicago) as they were EXTREMELY competitive on price and were great to deal with. $30,900 non navi, 6MT. I'm in WI, but it's certainly worth the drive when you find a dealer that's willing to work for you.

I just paid $33763 + tax for 04 TL Navi 5AT at Ed Napleton in Elmurst. I refused the protection package, vin etching and all the other BS they tried to sell me

We purchased an 04' Anthracite / Quartz from continental for $30,798 wich is $500 over invoice. Only stipulation was that it had to be out of their stock.
