I want to get the front grille meshing honeycomb style. i am wondering if there is a change in sizes from 04 to 07.

So I shouldn't get the grille insert then since it wont fit ? Or I can modify it. I think i have seen some people do it here.

 

i actually went to the dealership today and that exact part is too big for my bumper.. and i dont see ANY clips to hold such grill.. did u get the exact grill and it fit on ur car?

 

Doesn't the aspec kit use the regular tl-s honeycomb? I don't think that there is a regular one. At least when I installed my aspec it used the type s honeycomb.

 

i dunno.. this part 71504-SEP-A20ZA is the only thing the dealer is selling and all the techs came out to fit and they all said the grill is too big to fit and there isnt even any clips to hold the grill.. I mean.. somebody has to have an answer..

 

I believe you will need the type s bumper, cause the aspec comes with a hole around the grill area and it lines up to the regular type s honeycomb. So its gonna be a bit more than $6...

 

oh.. then what about the people who did the type-s conversion on their 04-06 base bumper? how did they fit the type-s honeycomb grill? hmm.. ANYONE??

 

The only way to do that was by either adding an aspec lip to allow for the exhaust to fit or to physically put a type s bumper on it, but then again I'm no pro. I'm just using what I know.

 

oh i do have an type-s a-spec lip on.. well im gonna make a thread about this and look for more help lol thx anyways msala!!
