where would I get the aspec front lip for the cheapest price?

 

You might find one here on the Black Market. Or, you can call Tim @ hondaacuraworld.com. Or Stephen Bradburn @ John Eagle Acura Parts. 281-589-0326 or 800-441-6878. They both sell OEM parts very cheap.

Thats good. I want to know if they ship to Canada though... and I can't seem to get a hold of the 1-888-RAY-LAKS number. It gives me that beeping tone everytime I try.

A Full ASPEC lip kit for 230 shipped?!!! Ummm I think its 230 shipped just for the Front Lip. Otherwise the entire kit is close to 800

Why not just buy the whole thing and save yourself the shipping cost? You will want the whole thing someday, so just save up and get it.

 

how much are they to buy them seperately? i don't have the cash to buy all of the at once.

Like I said earlier, don't mean to jack the thread,
But finally got a hold of Tim from Ray Laks.
They ship to Canada via USPS or UPS ground, whatever it was again, and we'd have to be responsible for the GST, PST or whatever other taxes there are to take care of.
Right now the Canadian dollar is every so slightly more than the American dollar.
I might "force" money into my creditcard and purchase the full a-spec kit. Just have to find out what color my TL is.

 

just ordered the front n rear from stephen @ john eagle acura for $530 shipped.

He said to let you guys know that shipping is $100 for just a piece of the kit or a whole kit since the freight cost went up for the size of the box.

 

Its ridiculous for us Canadians to order the kit, its 239,09 JUST for shipping to canada.. that brings the total to 1100 almost, and for americans.. its just another 5 dollar handling fee, which is 810 =\ i live in vancouver too.. i should just drive donw to bellinham and have it shipped somewhere th ere lol its onli a 2 hour drive and save myself 3bills

 

Front spoiler only $216.70
Side spoiler kit only $232.10
Rear spoiler only(underbody) $213.40.
Complete underbody spoiler kit $662.20 plus $30 for freight.

so basically even if you cant afford it all at once, comes out to be the same thing even if you bought it whole which is still cheap .. didnt buy mine whole either :[ $$$

A dealership here in Montreal quoted me for $1950 straight from the factory. wtf?
I don't know how much it is in dealers in Van...
But from the looks of it, all of us Canadians should might as well get ours from the states.

 

Okay so apparently I need a TL-S Aspec Rear for the ATLP quads...
Does that mean I'd need a new rear-bumper as well?

 

new rear bumper isn't required to accommodate TLS rear lip, but the existing bumper will be chopped up. there is a DIY with pics.

 

I'll look for the DIY... or maybe I'll just get the new 07 bumper and the TL-S aspec lip. Since my rear bumper seems to be quite loose at the right panels (can push it around or pull it out just a bit without ruining it further)

 

Is the A Spec front lip the same thing as the Front Under Body Spoiler that can be bought from the dealer?

You could do what people are doing with clothes. Buy it in the USA and then wear it home to avoid the duty.

 

I was thinking about that... since Montreal isn't too far from New York. But I have no clue how to get there and no clue how to make my way around town.

Also does anyone have the color codes for the TLs? I just went into the car, opened the door and the sticker showed me the int. color/ext. color.. and someone said I can find out my paint via my VIN.. any help?
I think it's satin silver. Just not sure.

 

Or, you can wait till 4g TLs come out and see which dealer has A-Spec in stock they wanna

get rid of. They would give u 20%ish discount i think.

My conclusion: Wait till 4G TL comes out. By the time u will have money for ALL parts which

SAVES shipping. And maybe even get discount. Contact dealers around you if they have

one in stock they wanna get rid of.

edit: Oh didn't read ur post correctly either. you ONLY want the front lip?

is it because u only have saved up for front lip ATM and planning to buy rest later?

guys i called john eagle acura but i didnt talk to stephen bradburn...kinda hard to get in touch w/ him coz when i call he's in a meeting or lunch or the guy i talked to cant find him.so i asked the guy for the whole body kit for my 05 tl nbp,and he quoted me for $815 + freight.i was surprised coz you guys said its cheaper right there.can anyone help me out if its ok.....

Since spring is right around the corner, one of the vendors should put a group buy together with the kit complete. It would be nice to have the option to get the TL-S rear for the quad exhaust. Can one of these vendors make it happen? I would be first on the list if we can get something done here.

I know this is a question but here goes. Does the A-Spec kit come painted or do you need to get that done as well???

 

It comes painted to match your car exactly. You do have to order it that way...they cant sense your cars color with esp or something.

 

ive already talked to stephen bradburn and ordered the full body kit for my 05TL.cant wait to get it.i got it for $770 shipped.he said prices are just going up and also the freight...but he said he still sells it cheaper.... i think so too
