Hey guys,

Changing the wiring harness in my 05 TL after the fire incident. Was wondering while it’s torn apart if you all can help me me with a list of other items I should consider changing.

So far I’m thinking:
- injectors
-both o2 sensors
- spark plugs
- all motor and trans mounts
- radiator fan.

Also, the wires running to the fan are melted and it’s not part of the engine wiring harness. Is it possible to splice this connection with out changing the entire harness?

I would only replace things that are bad or had gotten damaged in the fire.
so, if motor mounts and trans mounts are good, would be a waste of money to change them.
if spark plugs are still good, it would be a waste of money to replace them.
if the injectors are still flowing at 100%, would be a waste of money to replace them.

yes, at the very core..the wiring to the fans are just wires. you can replace or splice or repair to your hearts content.
