Arrow Changing Keys/Locks/Code in Chips in Key

I did a search on this and nothing came up.

I just got my 04 TL. It came with 2 master keys but NO valet key.

I'm worried that the one who is in posession of the Valet Key might come and steal my TL. I want to change my Locks/ignition switch.

Is it possible to do this for a new set of keys? Or can I just simply reprogram the chip in my key and the chip reader in the ignition switch?

Thanks.

I don't think you have anything to worry about o.p. Maybe add a shock sensor or an alarm system for additional protection
I got four keys all together 3 when I purchased the car from a used dealership. 1 Switchblade 2 masters and 1 valet key. There's really no need for so many keys, plus I would probably never valet my car after going to Miami this past July and seeing this douche valet guy completely reving and mistreating the crap out of someones G37.

When I bought my TL, it HAD both the Master Keys(2) and Valet key. The valet key is very ugly just saying.

I have nothing more to contribute to this thread, I just felt like mentioning I have all 3 keys.

In all seriousness, I doubt they will attempt to take your car unless they know where you live and your daily routine. Maybe its lost somewhere in your car and didnt realize you had it this whole time.

Sounds a bit far fetched but its possible.

Dude don't waste any money. I own 4 cars with Valet keys and I only know where one valet key is at the moment. If i sell any of the cars i will spend 3.5 seconds looking for the valet key. Hell the last car I sold I gave the guy 1 key out of 3. I wasn't trying to shit him I just didn't find them at the time of the sell. On a side note I have a key for my old 88 toyota truck and i saw it like 10 years after I traded it. I tried to catch the guy to give him the key just for kicks but didn't catch up to him
