I just noticed last night the light(s) in the floor console that illuminate my automatic shifter are out. Is this something simple to change or does the dealer have to handle it? If simple does anyone have the procedure? Thanks. Steve

Can u be more specific on floor console.. u talking about the little blue ones?

 

Its the bulb in the console itself - not the blue ones in the ceiling. Is it easy to get to? Thanks.

 

Are you talking about the bulb that lights up the center console storage box? If so, it is a PITA to replace. You can't get to it from inside the box. The white cover inside the box is permanently attached. The bulb assembly is removed from the backside. You have to remove the cup holder assembly to get to the backside of the bulb. There should be some scans of the steps necessary to remove the cup holder assembly in the 3G garage. Look for short shifter install or usa spec install or led lighting install.

 

I'm talking about the bulb(s) in the console area that light up gear shift indicator (park, reverse, drive, etc.)
