change headlights

do i really have to change my 04 base headlight to type s if im going to put a type s front bumper

No but you will need to modify your base front bumper to get the typs s front to fit correctly.

if youre getting the entire type-s front end, you will need a 07-08 grille also because the 04-06 grille is smaller.

i have everything grill type s bumper but just not the headlights u think i could do it

you can do that no problem. your headlights are the same size and shape as type-s ones so you don't need to change them at all.
