What does that have to do with "Cat delete"?

I haven't heard of anyone doing that. What you might look at is this thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/removing-resonator-stock-exhaust-summary-post-1-1811-a-589747/ - read the first post and maybe the last 3 -5 pages. There are also numerous related threads.

Also, just so you know: Tampering with (removing, gutting, etc) emission systems (i.e catalytic converters) is a Federal Offense. Not that I care what you do or don't do, but just so you're fully informed.

Oh. Right, I see what you're saying.

I still say (as others) go with the mod I linked you to. Costs a little more, but I think it's just what you're looking for and not "ghetto".

an exhaust leak anywhere will screw with the O2 sensors and the exhaust backpressure- which can effect the exhaust valves and overall engine running as computer tries to compensate

Do it right or dont do it = just because someone did it to a different type car....you dont have to drive off the bridge too
its not for the TL-

mid MUFFLER remove ok- no where in the usa can you remove or alter the cat! fed law
anything past the cat is fair game for upgrade-mufflers etc
